Salvete Omnes! I'm Ellie Kilmon and I'm serving as your MDJCL President this year. I'm a senior at Easton High school. This year one of my goals is to work to expand our membership and participation. I also would like have more interactive activities at certamina events and increase our delegation size at NJCL convention. My favorite myth is probably Pandora's box. If I was shrunk down to the size of a mouse I would go find a squirrel and ride it like in night at the museum. Who wouldn't like to explore the world on the back of a fluffy animal?

I'm going to be a junior at Easton High School and I'm the MDJCL Vice President. This year, I plan on increasing attendance at MDJCL events, planning new events, and creating great submissions for the NJCL's publicity and activities contests. Also, this year, I hope that the MDJCL can form connections with other state JCL chapters and become more well known on a national level. My favorite myth is the story of Baucis and Philemon. If I was shrunk down to the size of a mouse I would befriend other animals and travel around the world.

I am a senior at Easton High and the Editor of MDJCL's newsletter, 'The Torch.' My goal is to increase the circulation of the Torch throughout all MDJCL chapters and to enhance the newsletter itself, making it the go-to source for all things MDJCL! As for my favorite myth, I would have to go with the story of Selene and her love, Endymion. It has an essence of tranquility, which I enjoy. Now, if I were to be shrunken to the size of a mouse, most of my time would be spent in the kitchen, where all the food would be ginormous. That is, if I can escape my pet cats!

A rising senior at Dulaney High School (in Baltimore County), lover of ink-spattered worlds, lost in 1s and 0s, and working at Engaging as Fully as Possible with the Miracle of Human Consciousness. As this year's webmaster, I made this open source website with ¹ and hopes to keep it that way.
If I were shrunk down to the size of a mouse, I would squeeze through small spaces, walk on a tightrope (with my new mousy center of gravity), and eat a lot of cheese.
My favorite myth is of Atlas because ever since Atlas Shrugged, I wondered what I would do if I saw someone where the 'greater his effort, the heavier the world bore down upon his shoulders'.

I'm going into 12th grade, and I go to Eleanor Roosevelt High School. As this year's Historian for MDJCL, I plan on creating an award-winning (at NJCL of course ;)) scrapbook and T-shirt. I will work hard to take good notes at meetings to post on Facebook, and I will make sure to take my camera everywhere with me. This year, I hope that MDJCL will become larger (and more spirited), as well as more connected with other Junior Classical Leagues throughout the country.
My favorite myth is the tale of how the Seasons came to be(Persephone and Hades).
If I was shrunk down to the size of a mouse for a day, I would go on an adventure (meet other creatures, make tools and a shelter, etc.). It'd be really cool to see what everything would look like as something that small.

I'm a junior at Eleanor Roosevelt and this year's parliamentarian. I'll be reviewing the Constitution and seeing if there are any improvements we can make, but I'm mainly looking to institute some simple changes and reforms to the election process so that the platform of potential executive officers can be communicated easier. Hopefully, together with everyone else, we can increase membership and make ourselves an even more efficient and significant part of JCL. If I have to pick a favorite myth, I'd probably have to choose Icarus and Daedalus (I find something 'poetic' about a man flying too high, no matter how tragic). As for what I would do if I was the size of a mouse.........I'll keep quiet about that in the case this is admissible in a court of law. I'm looking forward to what we can accomplish this year.

I'm the Latin teacher at Easton High School and State Chair of MDJCL. I'm really excited to get lots of schools involved in planning and communication over the course of the year so we can really feel like a state organization. Also, my goal is to finally attend a National convention and hopefully lots of people will want to go with me. My favorite myth (um, way too hard a question!) is probably Orpheus and Eurydice because of how beautifully Vergil and Ovid wrote it (though some people don't like Ovid's version...they're just haters). If I were a mouse I would EAT ALL THE CHEESE and get really fat.
